Hippodrome Theater, Baltimore - Volunteer Orientation
The Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick
Performing Arts Center opened its doors to Baltimore in February
2004. What an exciting season it has been. Now we are ready to dive
into our second season with the much anticipated premiere of Phantom
of the Opera.
You have previously expressed an interest in
becoming a volunteer for the performing arts center. We invite you
to become part of this new world-class entertainment venue by
inviting you to attend one of our required orientation classes
during which we will familiarize you with the volunteer program,
theatre policies and procedures and provide guided tours.
Presently we have the following classes
scheduled:
Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 6:30 PM
Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM
Monday, August 23, 2004 at 6:30 PM
Everyone must attend one of these classes
before they are able to volunteer. To sign up for a class, please
respond to this e-mail. You may also call the Volunteer Services
Line at 410-752-2922 or send us an e-mail by visiting our website at
www.france-merrickpac.com and click on “About Us/Volunteer.”
On the day of your orientation class, please arrive on time, as
classes will begin promptly. The address of the theatre is 12 North
Eutaw Street, 21201. The day of your class, please enter through the
main doors on Eutaw Street. Orientation should last around 3 hours.
So, please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as we will be
touring the theatre complex. Allow ample time to find parking.
For general information regarding the volunteer program, parking,
directions or public transportation to the theatre, please visit our
website at www.france-merrickpac.com or call the Volunteer Services

on the waiting list for the next round of classes.
Thank you again for your interest. I look forward to meeting you and
having you as part of our team.
