Neighbor Ride is a volunteer-based nonprofit that strives to
improve the quality of life for seniors by providing
transportation for medical appointments, social gatherings,
fitness classes, personal care and business appointments,
religious services, educational activities and other day-to-day
needs. In the words of two passengers, "We have been able to
retain our independence because of Neighbor Ride...Thanks so
much and God bless."
To continue to reliably serve the growing numbers of seniors who
depend on Neighbor Ride to remain active and independent,
additional volunteers are needed. Extremely flexible and
rewarding daytime, evening, and weekend volunteer opportunities
are available. Volunteer drivers may choose to provide rides
that both fit their schedules and are convenient to their homes
and daily routines.
