Created 20 years ago by one teacher, AVID is now successfully helping students achieve in 23 states.  Anne Arundel County Schools will train AVID tutors for placement in all middle and high school, grades 6-9. Work once a week with 2-3 students for regular problem-solving study skill sessions.  AVID turns able underachievers into college-bound students.
