Please join us
for April love, of bonding, brunching and
the great outdoors. Katherine Callanan
will host us for another scrumptious meal on
her spacious and newly remodeled deck, after
many of us have biked on the B & A Trail.
Should April showers discourage us, we can
meet at Katherine’s a couple of hours later
to munch and kibitz.
We will meet at the Earleigh Heights Park Ranger
Station at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April
24th. (There is parking on both sides
of the road.) Some will bike north,
around the BWI loop for about 24 miles;
others will head south toward Annapolis for
some 14 miles. Those who just want a
short outing can ride to Kinder Farm Park
nearby. As usual, experienced bikers
will be expected to step forward to lead
each group and help their fellow club
members.
Those who don’t really feel like riding that Saturday
can simply drop by Katherine’s place later
that morning, by 11:30. Be sure and
email or call Katherine as early as you can
and let her know that you will attend—a lot
of planning and effort goes into most club
events. Please let her know also what
type of dish you would like to bring:

Be sure and bring a helmet and water bottle. Make
sure that your bike is in operating
condition, since it is not entirely pleasant
for others to stand around while we fix
things that should have been done before the
ride. Watch the weather and dress as
needed, but also wear something
eye-catching, since we will be crossing some
busy streets. We look forward to
seeing you all once again!
